Equip LC/SC fiberoptisk patchkabel, OM4, 0,5 m

The Equip LC/SC Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM4, 0.5 m is a short duplex patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in network environments. With a 50 µm core diameter (OM4) and LC-to-SC connectors, this 0.5 metre cable supports reliable full-duplex communication and is intended for interconnections where low insertion loss and stable endface geometry are required.

Advantages

This fiber optic patch cable uses quality materials and precision-polished endfaces to provide low insertion loss and good return loss, ensuring consistent optical performance. The OM4 multimode core supports higher bandwidth over short to medium distances, while the compact 0.5 m length helps maintain tidy cable management in racks and equipment with limited space. LC and SC connectors offer compatibility with a wide range of networking devices.

Suitable for

• Short-distance multimode links in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panels and switch-to-transceiver connections
• Telecommunication racks and structured cabling in LAN environments

How to use

Align the LC and SC connectors with the appropriate ports on your transceivers, patch panels or network devices and insert gently until a secure click or stop is felt. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before mating to prevent contamination and signal loss. For duplex operation, observe the correct transmit/receive orientation on both ends.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable without tight bends; follow the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM4 fibers. Clean connector endfaces with approved fiber cleaning tools before each connection and avoid excessive tension on the cable to maintain performance and connector integrity.
