Väggplugg Fischer 53260

The Fischer 53260 wall plug is a universal nylon fixing designed for secure anchoring in a wide range of building materials. Made from high-quality nylon, this 6 x 35 mm plug expands reliably in solid substrates such as concrete and aerated concrete, while its sleeve geometry engages in perforated and panel materials to provide secure retention. The plug is intended for through-type installation and is suitable for use with wood and chipboard screws to fasten lamps, cornices, lightweight shelves and wall cabinets. Each pack contains 50 pieces and fits a 6 mm drill hole.

Advantages

The universal design ensures safe installation in almost all common building materials, offering versatile application options. Anti-rotation lugs prevent the plug from turning in the drill hole, simplifying installation. A collar on the plug stops it from slipping into the drill hole for correct positioning. The FU universal plug accepts wood and chipboard screws from 3 to 6 mm, accommodating a range of fasteners for different tasks.

Suitable for

• Fixing lamps and lighting fixtures
• Mounting cornices and lightweight decorative elements
• Installing lightweight shelves
• Securing wall cabinets and small furniture

How to use

Drill a 6 mm hole to the required depth in the substrate. Clean the hole of dust and debris. Insert the Fischer 53260 plug flush with the surface; the collar prevents over-insertion. Position the fixture and drive a suitable wood or chipboard screw (3–6 mm) through the fixture into the plug until the plug expands and grips the substrate. For panel or perforated materials, ensure the sleeve engages correctly and the screw is tightened to achieve secure anchoring without over-torquing.

Recommendations

Use the Fischer 53260 wall plugs in appropriate substrates such as concrete, brick and aerated concrete for best performance. Select screw length so that at least two-thirds of the plug length engages in the substrate. For heavy loads or safety-relevant fixings, consult load tables or use anchors specifically rated for those applications.
