Patchkabel U/UTP Cat. 6 GOOBAY 0,5 m, vit, modell 51521

Patchcord U/UTP Cat. 6 GOOBAY 0.5 m, white, model 51521 is a short Ethernet patch cable designed for Cat6 networks. The 0.5 m length provides a compact connection between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets. Constructed for U/UTP twisted-pair wiring, this patchcord supports standard Gigabit Ethernet signaling and is suitable for structured cabling and local patching in home or office environments.

Advantages

This Cat 6 patchcord offers a compact, reliable connection for short interconnects where space is limited. The U/UTP design keeps wiring consistent with common structured cabling practices while supporting up to Gigabit Ethernet performance. The white jacket provides a discreet appearance for installations in visible areas and helps with colour-coded cable management in small networks.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels or wall outlets in racks and cabinets
• Linking routers, modems or network appliances to local ports
• Short patching runs in home offices, small business offices and meeting rooms
• Structured cabling where Cat6 performance is required over short distances

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6 (U/UTP, unshielded twisted pair)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ45 terminated at both ends (standard 8P8C)
• Colour: white jacket
• Intended performance: supports Gigabit Ethernet over copper twisted pair
• Application: patching and short interconnects in structured cabling

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port of the devices to be connected until the connector latches. Use the 0.5 m length for short connections within racks, between adjacent devices or from a wall outlet to a nearby switch or router. Avoid tight bends or kinks near the connector boots and secure the cable to prevent strain at the termination points.

Recommendations

For optimal signal integrity, route the patchcord away from high-voltage power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the white colour for visible runs or to match a colour-coded cabling scheme; consider longer Cat6 patchcords for connections exceeding the recommended short-run distances.
