Gembird CAT6 patchkabel oskärmad 20 m

Copper CAT6 stranded unshielded (UTP) patch cord with snagless boots, 8P8C connectors and gold-plated contacts. The Gembird CAT6 Patch Cable Unshielded 20m is designed for high-speed data transmission and flexible device placement in home and office networks. Its unshielded construction is compatible with standard Ethernet installations and the robust build provides reliable performance over a 20 m run.

Advantages

The stranded copper conductor offers improved flexibility for routing and frequent movement. Snagless boots protect the connector clip during installation while gold-plated contacts ensure corrosion resistance and stable signal transfer. The CAT6 specification supports higher bandwidths and better performance compared with lower-category cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in home networks
• Office workstations and patch panels
• Short to medium distance links up to 20 m
• Ethernet installations requiring CAT6 performance

Key specifications

• Type: CAT6 UTP patch cable
• Length: 20 m
• Connector: 8P8C (RJ45) with snagless boot
• Conductor: stranded copper
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Shielding: unshielded (UTP)
• Brand: GEMBIRD, MPN: PP6U-CU-20M, EAN: 8716309131377
• Weight: 0.65 kg

How to use

Plug each 8P8C connector into the corresponding RJ45 port on your network devices such as routers, switches or computers. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages for a secure connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT6 unshielded cable in standard Ethernet environments and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. When frequent movement is expected, the stranded design reduces stress on connectors; for permanent fixed installs consider a solid-core cable designed for in-wall use.
