How to use

Operate the scarifier according to the manufacturer’s instructions and safety guidelines. Before use, set the working depth or height according to the amount of thatch and the condition of the turf. Work the machine across the lawn in overlapping passes at a steady pace, avoiding excessive depth on weak or newly established grass. After scarifying, collect and remove the debris from the lawn surface; follow with raking or a collection device if available. For best results, perform overseeding or fertilising and water the lawn as required after scarifying to support recovery.

Recommendations

For routine maintenance, scarify once or twice a year—typically in spring or autumn—adjusting depth to lawn condition. Avoid heavy scarifying on newly sown or very thin turf; use light passes and allow a recovery period. Regular removal of debris after use and following the care steps above will help maintain lawn health and performance.
