UTP-patchkabel QOLTEC CAT6 100 m svart

QOLTEC UTP patchcord cable CAT6 in black, 100 m length, is an unshielded twisted pair cable engineered for structured LAN and Gigabit Ethernet applications. The cable meets CAT6 performance requirements for reliable data transmission in office and home networks, and it is intended for horizontal and backbone cabling where RJ45 termination is used for switches, routers and network devices. Its single-reel format simplifies installation planning and reduces need for splicing or intermediate joins.

Advantages

This CAT6 UTP cable offers consistent electrical characteristics across its length to support high-speed data rates up to Gigabit Ethernet. The unshielded twisted pair construction reduces crosstalk and near-end interference when installed according to standard practices. The 100 m reel provides a continuous run suitable for long cable routes and backbone segments, while the black jacket delivers discreet aesthetics and basic mechanical protection for office or residential environments.

How to use

Measure the required cable run and cut from the 100 m reel to provide a continuous length for the intended route, avoiding intermediate joins where possible. Terminate each end with compatible RJ45 connectors following T568A or T568B wiring standards and verify pair order and tight terminations. Route the cable through cable management channels or trays, maintain appropriate bend radius and separate from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Test each terminated link with a cable tester to confirm continuity, pair integrity and performance before putting network equipment into production.

Recommendations

For best performance, install the CAT6 UTP cable in compliance with local cabling standards, keep run lengths within recommended limits, and use quality RJ45 connectors and patch panels rated for CAT6. Avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling tension, and proximity to electrical power cables. Perform certification testing for critical links to ensure Gigabit Ethernet performance.
