Key specifications

• Number of ports: 24
• Cable category supported: Cat6
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: 19-inch rack compatible, compact depth

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack or cabinet using appropriate screws and cage nuts. Terminate Cat6 cables on the rear IDC or punch-down connections according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard, ensuring consistent pairing and pair twisting. Route and secure incoming and outgoing cables with cable ties or management brackets to maintain clear separation and reduce strain on terminations. Label ports for easy identification and connect patch cords on the front ports to network switches or other active equipment.

Recommendations

To preserve signal integrity and maintain performance with Cat6 cabling, avoid over-tightening cable ties near terminations, maintain bend radius guidelines, and keep patch runs within recommended length limits. Periodically inspect terminations and mounting hardware to ensure continued reliability.
