Patchpanel 1U ShiverPeaks BS75075

The ShiverPeaks BS75075 is a 1U patch panel designed for organized and reliable network termination in standard 19-inch racks. Built from durable metal and finished in grey, this panel provides eight RJ-45 ports that accept Cat6a cabling for high-speed data transmission. Its compact dimensions (160 mm width, 45 mm height, 108 mm depth) make it suitable for rack-mount environments where space efficiency and mechanical robustness are required.

Advantages

The metal construction ensures mechanical strength and long-term durability while the Cat6a-compatible RJ-45 ports support higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared with earlier cabling categories. The 1U form factor and standard mounting dimensions allow straightforward installation into typical rack enclosures. The grey finish offers a neutral, professional appearance that integrates easily into existing installations.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and rack-level cable termination
• Office network distribution panels
• Telecommunications rooms and equipment racks
• Small server rooms and network closets

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mount panel
• Connector type: RJ-45 ports
• Cabling support: Cat6a
• Material: metal housing
• Color: grey
• Dimensions (W×H×D): 160 mm × 45 mm × 108 mm

How to use

Mount the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Route Cat6a cables from network switches or devices to the rear of the panel and terminate each cable on the corresponding RJ-45 outlet, following industry-standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B) to ensure consistent polarity and signal performance. Label each port to match your network documentation for easy identification and future maintenance. Verify connections and perform link tests after installation to confirm proper data transmission rates.

Recommendations

Use Cat6a-rated cables and connectors to achieve the panel's intended high-speed performance. Maintain proper cable management and avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on patch cords. For best results, pair the panel with compatible rack accessories such as cable organizers and blanking panels to preserve airflow and serviceability.
