Patchpanel S/CONN 75058 Mini Cat5e grå

The Mini Patch Panel S/CONN 75058 Mini Cat5e Grey is a compact 19-inch compatible panel designed for terminating and organizing Cat5e network cabling. Finished in grey, this patch panel provides a tidy, space-saving solution for small racks, wall-mounted enclosures or desktop installations. It integrates standard RJ45 connectors and a straightforward rear termination area to simplify cable routing and link identification while maintaining reliable signal transmission for typical Cat5e networks.

Advantages

This patch panel offers a compact footprint that saves rack space and simplifies structured cabling in constrained environments. Its consistent mechanical design and quality RJ45 terminations help maintain stable connections and reduce signal loss typical for Cat5e deployments. The grey finish and clear port layout support easier labeling and professional-looking installations. The product is intended for practical, low-complexity network setups where straightforward cable management and dependable terminations are required.

Suitable for

• Home network wiring and patching
• Small office and SOHO rack or cabinet installations
• Patch field organization in network closets with Cat5e cabling
• Temporary or permanent network patching where space is limited

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Cat5e cabling standard
• Connector type: RJ45 ports for patching
• Form factor: compact panel suitable for small racks and wall enclosures
• Color: grey finish for unobtrusive installations
• Termination: rear termination area for cable routing and punch-down or IDC style terminations
• Use environment: indoor network installations (home, office, telecommunications closets)

How to use

Mount the patch panel in an appropriate rack space or wall enclosure using compatible mounting hardware. Route Cat5e cables to the rear termination area and follow the wiring color code for each port when terminating. Secure each cable with the recommended punch-down or IDC technique and confirm that each RJ45 port mates correctly with patch cords. Label ports as required for identification and test each connection with a network tester or continuity checker to verify proper signal transmission before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

Use the panel in environments with standard indoor temperature and humidity. Keep cable lengths and bend radii within Cat5e specifications, and perform cable testing after installation. For higher-speed networks or future-proofing, consider using higher-category components where appropriate.
