Riktantenn QuWireless QuMax

The QuWireless QuMax is a compact directional antenna designed for outdoor fixed installations where long-distance cellular connectivity and multi-radio functionality are required. With a maximum gain of 6 dBi and support for multiple frequency bands including 0.694–0.96 GHz, 1.7–2.2 GHz, 2.2–2.7 GHz and 2.4–6 GHz, the QuMax combines a high-power directional LTE antenna with integrated outdoor Wi‑Fi dual-band omni elements, Bluetooth and GPS antennas. The enclosure is sized to accommodate a Teltonika RUTX11 router and provides weather-resistant protection suitable for industrial environments.

Advantages

The integrated all-in-one design reduces installation complexity by combining directional LTE performance with omnidirectional Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth and GPS reception in a single IP67 enclosure. Vertical polarization and a 6 dBi gain focus signal reception toward distant base stations while maintaining a compact footprint (272 × 96 × 276 mm). A PoE/LAN connector simplifies power and data delivery to an internal router, and the white, weather-resistant housing is intended for outdoor, long-term deployment.

Suitable for

• Fixed outdoor IoT and M2M installations requiring improved cellular link to distant base stations
• Industrial sites where a Teltonika RUTX11 router is mounted inside a weatherproof enclosure
• Outdoor Wi‑Fi extension combined with cellular backhaul and Bluetooth/GPS services
• Remote monitoring, telemetry and security camera backhaul over LTE

How to use

Mount the QuWireless QuMax on a stable outdoor structure with clear line of sight toward the target base station or coverage area. Install the Teltonika RUTX11 router inside the provided enclosure space and connect it to the PoE/LAN interface for power and network access. Align the directional LTE element toward the distant cell tower to maximize signal strength while allowing the integrated Wi‑Fi omni elements to provide local wireless coverage. Ensure all cable entries and seals are correctly tightened to maintain weather resistance.

Recommendations

For optimal cellular performance aim for unobstructed line of sight to the base station and fine-tune antenna orientation while monitoring signal metrics on the router. Use corrosion-resistant mounting hardware and maintain regular inspections in harsh environments. When deploying Wi‑Fi, position the unit to balance LTE directional alignment and local Wi‑Fi coverage needs.
