Ubiquiti PoE-injektor – 24 V DC, 24 W, AF-5X (POE-24-AF5X)

Ubiquiti Networks PoE Adapters supply Power over Ethernet to various Ubiquiti devices, providing a simple way to deliver both data and power over a single Ethernet cable. These adapters are designed to work with a wide range of Ubiquiti products including airFiber, airMAX, EdgeMAX, mFi, UniFi access points, and UniFi Video / airVision devices.

Advantages

PoE Adapters simplify installation by eliminating the need for separate power cabling and are compatible with most Ubiquiti PoE devices. They include built-in protection features such as surge and clamping protection, peak pulse current handling, and support for an AC cable with earth grounding to reduce risk from electrical disturbances.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: airFiber, airMAX, EdgeMAX, mFi, UniFi AP, UniFi Video / airVision
• Power delivery method: Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Protection features: surge protection, clamping protection
• Surge performance: maximum surge discharge and peak pulse current handling
• AC connection: includes AC cable with earth ground

How to use

Connect the PoE Adapter to an AC power source using the supplied AC cable with earth grounding, then link the adapter to the target Ubiquiti device using an Ethernet cable. Ensure the adapter model and PoE standard match the power requirements of the connected Ubiquiti device. Place cables and the adapter in a dry, ventilated location and follow any manufacturer installation instructions for the specific device model.

Recommendations

Verify device compatibility and required power levels before installation. Use the provided grounded AC cable and install surge protection at the site if exposed to frequent electrical disturbances.
