InLine Glasfiber-duplexkabel LC/LC 9/125µm OS2 5 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 88656L 5m is a single-mode duplex fiber patch cable with LC connectors on both ends. It uses a 9/125 µm core/cladding diameter and OS2 fiber type to support long-distance, low-loss optical transmission. The cable is assembled for full-duplex communication, providing two separate fibers in a single jacket to carry transmit and receive signals simultaneously for network equipment with LC interfaces.

Advantages

This LC/LC duplex cable offers low attenuation and stable optical performance typical of OS2 single-mode fiber, enabling reliable signal integrity over extended runs. The LC connectors provide a compact footprint and secure connection for high-density patch panels and SFP/GPON modules. Its 5 m length balances reach and cable management for data center racks, server rooms, and telecom closets.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, routers and transceivers with LC ports
• Fiber patch panels and structured cabling in data centers
• FTTx, GPON and metro/long-haul single-mode links
• Laboratory testing and optical equipment interconnection

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode OS2
• Core/cladding diameter: 9/125 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Configuration: duplex (two fibers in one jacket)
• Length: 5 m
• Polish/type: UPC/PC style end-face (typical for single-mode LC)
• Jacket: flexible outer sheath suitable for indoor use

How to use

Inspect connector end-faces for cleanliness before installation and, if necessary, use appropriate cleaning tools to remove dust or contaminants. Route the duplex cable between LC ports, matching TX and RX channels according to device labeling, and insert LC connectors until they click into place. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; follow minimum bend radius guidelines for single-mode fiber to maintain low attenuation. Secure excess cable in cable management pathways to prevent strain on connectors.
