Patchkabel Equip Cat.6 RJ-45 U/UTP 15 m blå

The Equip Cat.6 U/UTP Patch Cable is a 15 m network cable designed for reliable high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s. Constructed from quality materials and tested to meet industry standards, this cable features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to ensure stable contact and reduced signal loss. The U/UTP design minimises external interference, making it suitable for office and data center Ethernet connections while the blue jacket simplifies cable identification.

Advantages

The Cat.6 specification provides improved bandwidth and a higher signal-to-noise margin compared with older categories, supporting 10GBase-T applications over shorter distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 15 m length covers typical runs between racks, switches and workstations, and the U/UTP construction reduces external electromagnetic interference without additional overall shielding.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and network ports in offices
• Cabling between servers and network equipment in data closets or small racks
• High-speed Ethernet setups supporting 10GBase-T over appropriate distances
• Structured cabling where clear visual identification is required (blue cable)

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold plated
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat.6 U/UTP)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Blue
• Weight: 0.328 kg

How to use

Uncoil the cable and avoid tight bends to preserve performance. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of a switch, router or NIC and the other into the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors click securely into place. For optimal 10GBase-T performance, use within recommended distance limits and pair with compatible Cat.6 or higher hardware.

Recommendations

Store the cable flat or loosely coiled to prevent kinks, keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources when possible, and inspect connectors for damage before installation. For runs longer than the recommended distance for 10GBase-T, consider Cat.6A or fibre solutions.
