Nätverkskabel PatchSee TP-6A-U/7 svart 2,1 m

The PatchSee TP-6A-U/7 Black 2.1 m is a Category 6a network patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. Constructed to Cat6a standards with U/UTP shielding, this 2.1 metre cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference while providing stable connections via standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for home, office, or data centre patching.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower-category cables, enabling faster and more reliable Ethernet links. U/UTP shielding helps to limit external interference without adding significant bulk, preserving flexibility for routing in tight spaces. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and reduced signal loss, and the 2.1 m length fits common patching needs between racks, switches, and workstations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small to medium networks
• Cabling between workstations and wall ports in offices
• Home networking setups requiring Gigabit and 10 Gigabit-compatible links over short distances
• Temporary or permanent patching in server rooms and wiring closets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented performance for 10 Gbps over short distances)
• Shielding type: U/UTP (overall foil or unshielded twisted pairs depending on construction, designed to reduce external interference)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 2.1 metres
• Colour: Black
• Conductor: Twisted pair copper conductors (solid/stranded variant suited to patching)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks to secure the connection. Use the 2.1 m length to connect between nearby devices such as switches, patch panels and computers. For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable, running it parallel to high-voltage power lines, or placing it near strong electromagnetic sources. When routing through racks or conduits, allow gentle bends and avoid kinking the cable.

Recommendations

For best results, test link speed and signal integrity after installation using network testing tools. Choose this Cat6a patch cable for environments where reduced interference and higher bandwidth are required over short distances; replace the cable if connectors or jacket show visible damage.
