Nätverkskabel EFB Elektronik K5530.5

The EFB Elektronik K5530.5 is a 5 m Cat.5e networking cable with SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding and molded RJ45 plugs on both ends. The contacts are 50 µ gold plated and meet IEC 60603-7-3; contact durability is minimum 750 mating cycles. The 6.2 mm diameter PUR jacket in RAL6018 provides mechanical resistance and the cable is rated for extended temperature operation from -40°C to +80°C.

Advantages

Shielded SF/UTP construction ensures low impedance differential performance with full 360° shield contact for improved EMC behavior. Gold‑plated contacts and IEC-compliant RJ45 plugs provide reliable electrical contact and durability. The moulded strain relief with latch protection reduces connector strain and potential damage. The PUR jacket offers good abrasion and chemical resistance suitable for industrial environments.

Suitable for

• Ethernet and network patching (Cat5e) over short runs
• Industrial or harsh-environment network connections requiring robust cable jacket
• Applications requiring improved EMC / reduced interference

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Cable category: Cat.5e (SF/UTP, S-FTP)
• Conductor: 4 x 2 x AWG26/7
• Jacket material: PUR, color RAL6018, Ø = 6.2 mm
• Connectors: 2 × RJ45, shielded, IEC 60603-7-3
• Contact plating: 50 µ gold
• Contact durability: ≥ 750 mating cycles
• Temperature range: -40°C to +80°C

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connectors into the network ports on your devices until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and reduce mechanical stress on the moulded strain relief. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid stretching or crushing the cable during installation.

Recommendations

For stable network performance, use this Cat5e SF/UTP cable for short to medium runs within local networks and in industrial settings where mechanical robustness and improved EMC immunity are required. Inspect connectors periodically for wear; replace the cable if contact performance degrades after extensive use.
