Keystone-jack ACT CAT6A fullskärmad LSA TD6023

The ACT CAT6A Keystone Jack Full Shielded Punch Down TD6023 is a shielded modular connector for structured cabling systems. Designed to support high-speed data transmission, this keystone jack combines an RJ45 outlet interface with IDC punch-down terminals. Its steel housing provides robust mechanical protection and full 360° shielding to reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference in demanding network installations. The jack fits standard keystone wall plates and patch panels to integrate into professional network racks and outlet locations.

Advantages

The full metal construction ensures improved durability and consistent shielding performance across the connector. Punch-down IDC terminals offer secure wire retention and reliable pair-to-pair termination suitable for Cat6A cabling. The RJ45 outlet maintains standard jack dimensions for compatibility with common patch cords and keystone faceplates. Overall design aims to minimize crosstalk and external interference while supporting high-bandwidth applications.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling installations in offices, data centers, and communication rooms
• High-speed Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks using Cat6A cable
• Patch panels and keystone wall plates requiring shielded connectors
• Environments with elevated EMI/RFI where full shielding is necessary

Key specifications

• Category: Class EA / Cat6A performance for transmission up to 500 MHz
• Connector type: RJ45 outlet with IDC punch-down terminations
• Shielding: Full metal (360°) shielded housing
• Material: Steel housing for mechanical strength and EMI protection
• Termination: 110/keystone punch-down compatible IDC contacts
• Compatibility: Standard keystone dimensions for wall plates and patch panels
• Application: Supports 10GBASE-T and Gigabit Ethernet over Cat6A cabling

How to use

Prepare Cat6A cable by stripping the outer jacket according to the recommended length, maintaining pair twist as close to the IDC contacts as possible. Insert individual conductors into the IDC slots following the colour code printed on the jack and use a punch-down tool to seat and trim conductors securely. After termination, snap the keystone jack into a compatible wall plate or patch panel and connect a standard RJ45 patch cord to the front port. Ensure shielding continuity by connecting the connector’s shield to the building ground where required.

Recommendations

To achieve optimal Cat6A performance, use this shielded keystone jack with fully shielded Cat6A cable and ensure proper grounding of the shield at one point in the network. Avoid untwisting pairs beyond the recommended length and use a certified cable tester after installation to verify pair integrity, continuity, and return loss.
