Keystone-jack ACT CAT6 oskärmad LSA vit TD6015

The ACT CAT6 Keystone Jack TD6015 is an unshielded RJ45 keystone connector designed for CAT6 structured cabling. It provides a modular termination point for copper Ethernet cables and is intended for reliable high-speed data transmission in residential and commercial network installations. The white molded housing offers a neutral appearance that fits standard faceplates and patch panels while maintaining compatibility with common CAT6 cabling practices.

Advantages

This keystone jack supports CAT6 performance parameters for gigabit Ethernet and offers a punch-down termination using IDC contacts for consistent connection quality. The unshielded design minimizes cost and weight while remaining suitable for typical office and home environments where electromagnetic interference is not a primary concern. The compact keystone form factor allows easy snap-in installation into wall plates, surface mount boxes, and patch panels, providing a tidy, modular cabling solution.

Suitable for

• Residential gigabit Ethernet installations
• Small and medium office local area networks
• Patch panels and wall plate terminations
• Voice and data outlet configurations

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6 unshielded keystone jack
• Connector type: RJ45 (female) on front
• Termination: IDC punch-down contacts
• Color: White
• Mounting: Keystone snap-in form factor compatible with standard faceplates and patch panels
• Cable types supported: UTP CAT5e/CAT6 twisted pair copper cabling
• Transmission: Designed for gigabit Ethernet applications within CAT6 performance limits

How to use

Prepare the twisted pair cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the conductor pairs. Follow the color code printed on the keystone jack housing to arrange the pairs in the correct order, then insert each conductor into the appropriate IDC slot. Use a standard punch-down tool to seat the wires and trim excess conductors. Snap the keystone jack into a compatible faceplate or patch panel opening and secure the faceplate as required. Test the terminated link with a network cable tester to verify continuity and wiring correctness before placing the installation into service.

Recommendations

Use this unshielded CAT6 keystone jack in environments with standard electromagnetic conditions; for areas with high interference or where grounding and shielding are required, consider shielded alternatives. Maintain proper cable bend radius and avoid running data cabling parallel to high-voltage power lines to preserve signal integrity and achieve expected CAT6 performance.
