Kapslingsvärmare Rittal 3105.320

The Rittal 3105.320 enclosure heater is a PTC heater without a fan, designed to maintain stable temperatures inside electrical enclosures and prevent condensation. It provides a continuous thermal output in the range of 10–150 W and is equipped with a quick-connection terminal for straightforward installation. The heater accepts an input voltage of 110–240 V at 50–60 Hz with a maximum current of 2 A and has compact dimensions (45 mm width, 46 mm depth, 120 mm height), allowing use in a variety of cabinet sizes while keeping a neutral grey appearance.

Advantages

The PTC design ensures self-regulating heating, reducing the risk of overheating and improving energy efficiency compared with fixed-resistance elements. The fanless construction provides silent operation and minimizes ingress of dust and particulates. Quick-connection terminals simplify mounting and wiring, and the compact form factor facilitates installation in confined spaces inside control cabinets or enclosures.

How to use

Mount the heater inside the enclosure according to the cabinet manufacturer’s guidelines and local electrical codes. Connect the supply using the quick-connection terminal, observing correct voltage and polarity where applicable. Position the heater to provide even internal heating while avoiding direct contact with sensitive components. After connection, verify operation and monitor enclosure temperature to ensure it reaches and maintains the required setpoint for the application.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, ensure the enclosure is properly sealed against excessive ingress of dust and moisture and verify that the heater’s power range suits the enclosure volume and heat loss. Regularly inspect electrical connections and mounting integrity during scheduled maintenance; do not modify the heater or its terminals.
