Kopplingsskåpslås Rittal SZ 2575.000, silver/vit, 80 g

Rittal SZ 2575.000 is a compact electrical enclosure lock designed for secure closure of control cabinets, distribution boxes and junction enclosures. Available in a silver/white finish and weighing approximately 80 g, this mechanical lock provides a space-saving solution that integrates with standard enclosure mounting. It serves as an alternative to the standard lock insert and can be used with or without a lock cylinder insert depending on access and security requirements.

Advantages

The design offers a low-profile, durable closure that resists everyday wear in industrial and commercial settings. Its lightweight construction simplifies installation and reduces strain on enclosure doors and hinges. The neutral silver/white colour matches common enclosure panels and supports consistent visual integration across equipment. As a mechanical locking option, it enables straightforward replacement of existing inserts or upgrades of basic closures.

How to use

Install the lock into the enclosure’s designated insert position according to the cabinet manufacturer’s instructions. If a lock cylinder insert is required, fit the cylinder into the lock body and secure it per the cylinder supplier’s guidance. Ensure the lock engages properly with the door latch mechanism and that the door closes and opens smoothly. Verify alignment and secure fastening to prevent rattle or misalignment during operation.

Recommendations

For routine maintenance, check the lock and surrounding seal for signs of wear or corrosion and replace the insert if mechanical function degrades. In environments with high contamination or moisture, consider using appropriate gaskets or protective measures on the enclosure to preserve lock longevity. Choose a compatible cylinder type where keyed access or higher security is required.
