InLine USB 3.2 adapter intern, frontpanel USB-E hane till USB-E hona 90°

The InLine USB 3.2 adapter is an internal angled connector that converts a front-panel USB-E male plug to a USB-E female port at a 90° angle. It supports internal USB 3.2 (Gen 2) connections with a maximum data transfer rate of 10 Gb/s and has compact dimensions (24 mm × 19 mm × 12 mm) for easy installation on front panels. The adapter is black and intended for use inside a computer chassis to route a USB-E connection neatly to the motherboard port.

Advantages

The adapter provides a right-angle USB-E connection that saves space and reduces cable strain in tight front-panel installations. Its support for USB 3.2 (Gen 2) ensures high-speed data transfers up to 10 Gb/s. The small rectangular form factor allows flexible positioning for front panel modules and internal cabling while maintaining compatibility with standard USB-E connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting an internal front-panel USB-E connector to a motherboard USB-E port
• Front-panel installations with limited clearance
• Systems requiring a compact right-angle internal USB connection

Key specifications

• Type: Internal angled adapter, USB-E male to USB-E female (90°)
• Standard: USB 3.2 (Gen 2)
• Max data rate: 10 Gb/s
• Dimensions: 24 mm (W) × 19 mm (D) × 12 mm (H)

How to use

Insert the adapter’s USB-E male connector into the corresponding internal USB-E header or cable from the front panel, then plug the USB-E female port into the motherboard’s USB-E socket or the mating internal cable. Ensure correct orientation when connecting to avoid bending pins. Mount and route cables so the adapter is supported and not subject to continuous mechanical strain.

Recommendations

Use this adapter only for internal connections within a powered-off system. Verify that both connected devices support USB 3.2 (Gen 2) to achieve the specified 10 Gb/s transfer rate; otherwise performance will be limited by the lowest supported standard.
