Stålborstrondell KWB 599600 3,8 cm

The KWB 599600 wire wheel brush with a 3.8 cm diameter and 0.3 mm steel wire is designed for cleaning and preparing internal surfaces of tubes, radiators and large openings. It removes rust, old paint and scale, levels rough spots and prepares metal and stone surfaces for welding and brazing. Constructed for repeated use, the brush fits into rotary tools and bench grinders that accept wheel-style brushes.

Advantages

The steel crimped wires provide aggressive but controlled material removal while maintaining brush shape. The compact 3.8 cm diameter gives access to pipes and narrow cavities. A 0.3 mm wire thickness balances durability and flexibility for effective cleaning of rust, paint and deposits. The brush is suitable for use on various metals and on stone where mechanical surface preparation is required.

How to use

Mount the wire wheel brush on a compatible rotary tool or bench grinder according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and ensure secure fastening. Start at low speed to check balance and contact, then increase speed as appropriate for the material. Apply steady, light pressure and move the brush along the surface to remove rust, paint or scale; avoid excessive force to prevent wire breakage and damage to the workpiece. Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and a dust mask when working.

Recommendations

Check tool speed limits and the brush’s mounting specifications before use. For best results, test on a small area first and replace the brush if wires are worn or deformed. Do not use on delicate finishes or plastics. Maintain PPE and ensure adequate ventilation when removing paint or rust.
