InLine patchkabel SF/UTP Cat.5e grå 3 m

The InLine Patch Cable SF/UTP Cat.5e grey 3m is a Category 5e twisted-pair network cable designed for connecting network components with RJ45 interfaces, such as switches, routers, wall sockets, patch panels and network cards. The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gbit/s) and is specified for operation up to 125 MHz, offering SF/UTP shielding to reduce external interference while maintaining flexibility with its 3 m length.

Advantages

SF/UTP construction provides foil shielding around the pair bundle and an overall braid to minimise electromagnetic interference. RJ45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard network equipment, and Cat.5e specification supports Gigabit data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The 3 m grey cable offers a balance between reach and neat cable management in racks or office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels
• Linking wall sockets to network devices
• Establishing Gigabit Ethernet links (10/100/1000Base-TX)
• Short to medium runs in offices, server rooms and workstations

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (foil-shielded pairs with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit)
• Frequency: up to 125 MHz
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: Grey
• Suitable for: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding RJ45 ports of the network devices to be connected (for example, switch to patch panel or wall socket to PC). Ensure connectors click into place to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from power cables where possible to reduce potential interference despite the shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.5e SF/UTP cable for runs up to its length of 3 m and within environments where moderate electromagnetic interference is present. Inspect connectors for damage before installation and avoid sharp bends or crushing. For longer runs or environments with high interference, consider higher-category or differently shielded cables.
