InLine patchkabel F/UTP Cat.5e grå 1m

The InLine Patch Cable F/UTP Cat.5e grey 1m is a 1-metre network patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office environments. Constructed with F/UTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transmission over typical Cat5e networks. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors in a neutral grey jacket that suits structured cabling and visible installations.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic noise. The Cat5e performance supports common Ethernet speeds and network applications, while the compact 1 m length reduces excess cable slack and keeps workspaces tidy. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, printers and IP phones to switches or patch panels
• Short-distance connections in server rooms, offices and home networks
• Structured cabling runs where interference reduction is required
• Temporary setups for meetings, demonstrations or testing

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.5e
• Shielding: Foil shielded twisted pair (F/UTP)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port of your devices until the connector latch clicks. If connecting to a patch panel or switch, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from high-voltage power cables to minimise potential interference. For a tidy installation, run the cable along cable trays or use cable ties to secure excess length where necessary.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, direct Ethernet links up to typical Cat5e distances; avoid stretching or over-bending the cable and keep connectors free from dust. In environments with heavy mechanical stress or outdoor exposure, choose specially rated cables instead of standard indoor patch cords.
