InLine flat patchningskabel, U/FTP, Cat.6A, TPE halogenfri, grå, 5 m

The InLine Flat Patch Cable, Cat.6A, 5m is a U/FTP network patch cable engineered for high-speed data transmission in compact and space-constrained installations. The 5 metre length provides extended reach between devices while the flat profile and halogen-free TPE sheath make the cable flexible and easier to route under carpets, along skirting boards or through narrow gaps. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors to ensure compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices that require Cat.6A performance.

Advantages

This flat Cat.6A cable supports enhanced signal integrity thanks to the U/FTP structure, which reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. The halogen-free TPE jacket increases safety in environments where reduced toxic gas emission is important and also provides a durable, flexible outer layer for frequent bending and routing. The slim, grey design reduces clutter and is suitable for discreet installation along floors and walls without compromising data rates expected from Cat.6A cabling.

Suitable for

• Home and office network connections where space is limited
• Routing under carpets, along skirting boards or through narrow conduits
• Connecting computers, switches, routers and LAN devices requiring Cat.6A speeds
• Environments that benefit from halogen-free cable materials

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A (U/FTP)
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket material: Halogen-free TPE
• Colour: Grey
• Flat profile for easy routing in tight spaces

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector at one end into the network port of your router, switch or device and the RJ-45 connector at the other end into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors click into place to secure the connection. When routing the cable, follow room edges, skirting boards or existing cable channels and avoid sharp bends that could stress the internal pairs. The flat design allows the cable to lie close to surfaces for discreet installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid placing the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines for extended runs. Maintain bend radii recommended for flat cables and avoid repeated heavy mechanical stress at the connector entry points. The halogen-free TPE sheath is suitable for indoor installations; for permanent outdoor exposure or direct burial consider using cable types specified for those environments.
