DIGITUS patchkabel - Cat 5e - SF/UTP - Snagless - 10 m - grå

The Digitus Network Cable CAT 5e SF/UTP RJ-45 10m Grey is a Cat5e patch cord designed for reliable data transmission in structured cabling systems. Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 5e specifications, this 10 m cable provides performance up to 100 MHz and complies with ISO & EN channel requirements. The cable has RJ-45 connectors on both ends, a molded boot with kink protection and strain relief, and a transparent blue metal-shielded plug for clear identification of Category 5e.

Advantages

The SF/UTP construction offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, and the cable’s performance—including near end crosstalk (NEXT)—is tested up to 100 MHz. The molded boot includes strain relief and latch protection to reduce connector damage and cable stress during installation and use. The transparent blue, metal-shielded plug allows easy identification of Category 5e patch cords.

Suitable for

• Office and home network connections
• Structured cabling installations requiring Cat5e compliance
• Patch panels and switches with RJ-45 ports
• Applications needing improved interference protection compared to UTP

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 5e (ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173)
• Shielding: SF/UTP
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cable length: 10 m
• Rated frequency: up to 100 MHz
• Colour: Grey (transparent blue plug)
• Manufacturer: DIGITUS, MPN DK-1532-100, EAN 4016032199700

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch, or patch panel) and the other to the remote device. Ensure connectors click into place with the latch protection engaged. Route the cable without tight bends to preserve the kink protection and strain relief provided by the molded boot. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat5e performance, use this SF/UTP cable in environments where additional shielding is needed and follow installation best practices: avoid sharp bends, maintain proper bend radius, and test the link after installation to verify compliance with Cat5e channel parameters.
