Bryggrepeater Trendnet TPE-E100 svart

TRENDnet TPE-E100 Gigabit PoE+ Repeater extends a Gigabit PoE/PoE+ network connection to remote locations by detecting incoming PoE (15.4 W) or PoE+ (30 W) and carrying power and data an additional 100 meters, enabling up to 200 m (656 ft.) from the PoE source. The compact black unit uses a single RJ-45 port for 10/100/1000 Mb/s links and supports a maximum data transfer rate up to 800 Mbit/s while consuming about 2 W, providing a simple way to expand wired network coverage without an external power adapter.

Advantages

The TPE-E100 automatically detects PoE and PoE+ signals and extends both power and data over standard Ethernet cabling for another 100 m. Its single-port design with 10/100/1000BASE-TX compatibility supports Gigabit links while keeping low power consumption. Built-in mounting points and the lack of an external power supply simplify remote installations and reduce cable clutter. The device’s compact black enclosure makes it suitable for discreet placement near devices that require extended reach.

Suitable for

• Extending PoE/PoE+ connections to IP cameras
• Extending PoE to wireless access points
• Connecting remote VoIP phones or other powered network devices
• Outdoor or indoor deployments where additional cable length is required (within 200 m total or 300 m when daisy-chaining two repeaters)

Key specifications

• Model: TRENDnet TPE-E100
• Port: 1 × RJ-45 (10/100/1000BASE-TX)
• Maximum data transfer rate: 800 Mbit/s
• PoE support: PoE (15.4 W) and PoE+ (30 W) auto-detection
• Extension distance: +100 m per unit (up to 200 m from PoE source; daisy-chain two for up to 300 m)
• Power consumption: approx. 2 W
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.228 kg

How to use

Connect the incoming PoE/PoE+ Ethernet cable from your PoE injector or switch to the repeater’s RJ-45 port. Run a second Ethernet cable from the repeater to the powered device up to 100 m away. If a longer extension is required, install a second TPE-E100 in series: connect the first repeater to the PoE source, then connect the second repeater to the first and run the final cable to the powered device. Secure the unit using the built-in mounting points; no external power adapter is required.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use quality Cat5e or higher cabling, keep each segment within the 100 m limit, and verify that the PoE source provides sufficient power budget for the powered device plus cable losses. When daisy-chaining two repeaters, confirm overall power requirements and device compatibility with PoE/PoE+ standards.
