Nätverksbrygga Ubiquiti AF-11

The Ubiquiti AF-11 is a modular network bridge designed for licensed 11 GHz links, delivering gigabit-class wireless throughput with low latency and extended range. Built in a compact white housing, the AF-11 is suitable for carrier backhaul, building-to-building enterprise connectivity, and public safety links where reliable long-distance wireless performance is required.

Advantages

The airFiber® 11 platform provides high-capacity wireless connectivity on the 11 GHz licensed band, reducing interference compared with congested 5 GHz frequencies. The AF-11 supports gigabit+ performance and low latency in a compact form factor, offers a Gigabit Ethernet LAN interface for seamless integration, and uses 128-bit AES encryption to protect data traffic.

Suitable for

• Carrier backhaul links
• Point-to-point building-to-building connectivity
• Public safety and emergency communications
• Enterprise network extension over long distances

How to use

Install the AF-11 at both ends of the desired link with clear line of sight between units. Connect each device to the local network using the Gigabit Ethernet LAN port and configure link parameters through the Ubiquiti management interface, selecting the appropriate licensed 11 GHz channel and encryption settings. Align the radios precisely for optimal signal strength and verify throughput and latency after setup.

Recommendations

For best results, deploy the AF-11 on licensed 11 GHz channels to minimize interference, ensure reliable line of sight and proper antenna alignment, and secure the link with 128-bit AES. Use surge protection and grounded mounts where required for outdoor installations.
