Bosch 2 609 255 291 borr 1 st

The Bosch 2609255291 drill bit is a single precision tool designed for controlled drilling tasks. With a diameter of 4 cm and a working length of 90 mm, this drill bit is intended for use with standard drill machines and provides consistent hole quality across a range of common materials. Manufactured by Bosch, the bit is built to deliver stable cutting performance and practical durability for repeated use.

Advantages

This drill bit combines a substantial 4 cm diameter with a 90 mm length to allow for deeper, clean holes in thicker workpieces. The geometry of the cutting edges and the material choice support efficient chip removal and reduced clogging during operation. Compatibility with standard drills and straightforward installation in common chucks make it a convenient option for both workshop and site use.

Key specifications

• Diameter: 4 cm
• Overall length: 90 mm
• Intended use: rotary drilling with standard electric or cordless drills
• Compatibility: fits standard drill chucks
• Material: engineered for wear resistance and reliable cutting (manufacturer-specified)

How to use

Secure the drill bit in the drill chuck and tighten according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Select an appropriate drilling speed for the material you are working with; lower speeds are recommended for larger diameters and harder materials. Apply steady, even pressure and allow the bit to cut without forcing. Withdraw periodically to clear chips when drilling deep holes and maintain alignment to ensure a neat, accurate bore.

Recommendations

Use eye and hand protection when drilling. For hardwoods and dense composites, reduce speed and use controlled feed to avoid overheating. When drilling through brittle materials, support the workpiece to prevent splintering and use backing where necessary. Inspect the bit before use and replace it if cutting edges show significant wear.
