Bosch 1 618 596 239 borr hammarborr 1 st

The Bosch 1 618 596 239 hammer drill bit is designed for efficient drilling in tough materials. With a 2.5 cm diameter and a single-piece construction, this rotary-hammer-compatible bit delivers stable performance and precise hole formation for renovation, construction and maintenance tasks. It is suitable for use in impact drilling tools and is intended to provide reliable penetration in concrete, masonry and similar substrates when paired with the appropriate rotary hammer.

Advantages

This drill bit features a robust, single-piece design that reduces vibration and increases rigidity during impact drilling. The 2.5 cm diameter provides a balance between hole size and structural integrity, while the geometry of the tip supports accurate positioning and consistent drilling speed. The bit is manufactured to Bosch quality standards, offering wear resistance and service life appropriate for repeated use in demanding worksite conditions.

Suitable for

• Drilling anchor and fixing holes in concrete and masonry
• Installing electrical boxes and conduit through walls
• General renovation and building maintenance tasks
• Professional and DIY applications requiring rotary-hammer drilling

Key specifications

• Diameter: 2.5 cm
• Type: Hammer / rotary-hammer drill bit
• Construction: Single-piece design for increased rigidity
• Material fit: Intended for use in concrete, masonry and similar hard substrates
• Compatibility: Designed for use with rotary hammers and impact drilling tools

How to use

Select a rotary hammer with a suitable chuck or SDS adapter compatible with the bit. Mark the drilling point and position the drill bit perpendicular to the surface. Start drilling at low speed to establish the pilot point, then apply steady pressure and use the hammer function for effective penetration in concrete or masonry. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust from the hole and allow the bit to cool. Follow the tool manufacturer's guidance for appropriate feed force and rotation speed.

Recommendations

Use correct personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask when drilling. For best results, match the bit diameter to the required anchor or fastener size and ensure the rotary hammer is set to the appropriate hammering mode. Replace the bit when tip wear noticeably reduces drilling efficiency or accuracy.
