Bosch 2 608 579 916 borrset 11 st.

The Bosch 2 608 579 916 drill bit set contains eleven 250 mm bits engineered for use with rotary hammers. Designed to drill into brick and concrete, the set provides consistent penetration and long-lasting performance for heavy-duty tasks. Each bit is shaped and hardened to withstand impact drilling and maintain cutting efficiency over repeated use, making the set suitable for construction sites and renovation work.

Advantages

The bits offer reliable durability under impact conditions and precise drilling depth thanks to uniform lengths. Their geometry is optimised for fast dust evacuation and stable drilling in masonry materials. The set reduces downtime by maintaining cutting edges longer than standard bits and ensures compatibility with common rotary-hammer chucks for quick bit changes.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in brick and concrete for anchors and dowels
• Preparing masonry for electrical and plumbing installations
• Structural renovation and construction tasks requiring deep holes
• Professional site work and demanding DIY projects

Key specifications

• Number of pieces: 11
• Length: 250 mm per bit
• Material compatibility: brick, concrete, masonry
• Designed for: rotary hammers / impact drilling
• Bit geometry: optimized for dust removal and stable drilling

How to use

Select a bit of the required diameter and insert it securely into the rotary hammer chuck according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the drilling point, set the hammer function and apply steady forward pressure while allowing the tool to do the work. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and check progress. For deep holes, remove debris regularly to maintain cutting efficiency and prevent overheating.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and dust mask. Match the bit diameter to the required anchor or dowel size and use a depth stop or tape marking on the bit if precise hole depth is needed. Store bits dry and clean to avoid corrosion and inspect tips before use to ensure they are not blunted or damaged.
