Borrset Metabo 626245000

The Metabo 626245000 drill bit set includes seven SDS Plus drill bits in a range of diameters suitable for rotary hammers. Designed for concrete and masonry drilling, the set covers common hole sizes Ø5, Ø6, Ø8, Ø10 and Ø12 mm and combines carbide tips with robust shanks for prolonged service life. The bits fit SDS Plus chucks and are intended for medium-duty to heavy-duty drilling tasks where reliable bit retention and efficient material removal are required.

Advantages

The set offers a compact selection of frequently used diameters, reducing the need to change tools on site. Carbide-tipped heads provide wear resistance when drilling into concrete, brick and stone. SDS Plus shanks ensure secure, vibration-resistant seating in compatible rotary hammers and enable quick bit changes. The bits are manufactured to maintain dimensional accuracy for consistent hole sizes and stable drilling performance.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in concrete and reinforced concrete
• Anchoring and fixing installations in masonry
• Electrical and plumbing installation work requiring precise holes
• General renovation and construction site drilling

Key specifications

• Shank system: SDS Plus compatible
• Tip material: tungsten carbide carbide tip suitable for masonry
• Diameters included: Ø5, Ø6, Ø8, Ø10, Ø12 mm
• Intended application: rotary hammer drilling in concrete and masonry
• Set quantity: seven drill bits covering the listed diameters

How to use

Choose the drill bit diameter appropriate for the required hole and insert the SDS Plus shank into the rotary hammer chuck until it locks. Use the rotary hammer's hammer drilling mode for concrete and masonry, apply steady axial pressure without forcing the bit, and let the tool do the work. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and chips, and reduce the drilling speed or use lower impact settings when approaching embedded reinforcement. Replace worn bits when cutting performance or dimensional accuracy deteriorates.

Recommendations

Wear eye and hearing protection and a dust mask when drilling. Secure workpieces and check the rotary hammer manufacturer's guidelines for compatible speed and impact settings. Use a lubricant or coolant only if recommended for the material and tool; otherwise, keep the bits clean and dry for storage.
