ACT vit 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A slimline-patchkabel för datacenter RJ45

The ACT White 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter patch cable RJ45 (DC6902) is a 2 m slimline CAT6A ethernet patch cord with LSZH jacket and U/FTP shielding. It features snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and is designed for high-speed data transmission in datacenter and network cabinet installations while reducing smoke emission in case of fire.

Advantages

This slimline CAT6A cable has a reduced diameter (approx. 3.8 mm) compared with standard CAT6A patch cords, allowing a smaller bending radius and improved airflow inside server racks and network cabinets. The U/FTP shielding offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic gas emission in enclosed environments. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• High-density datacenter patching and horizontal cabling
• Network cabinets and server racks where airflow is important
• Applications requiring U/FTP shielding to reduce interference
• Environments where low-smoke, zero-halogen materials are preferred

Key specifications

• Brand: ACT
• Model / MPN: DC6902
• Length: 2 m
• Standard: CAT6A (shielded U/FTP)
• Jacket: LSZH (white)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Approx. diameter: 3.8 mm (slimline)
• EAN: 8716065509670

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to the network device and the other to the patch panel, switch or server NIC. Route the slimline cable through the rack or cabinet taking advantage of its reduced diameter to minimize bend radius and improve rack airflow. Ensure connectors are fully seated and locked in place. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and maintain proper strain relief at connection points.

Recommendations

Although ISO/IEC and TIA recommend patch cords between 22 and 26 AWG, this slimline cable uses much thinner conductors (up to 32 AWG), which increases attenuation at higher frequencies. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments ACT advises bundling no more than 24 cables to limit temperature rise—ANSI TSB-184-A limits the center-cable temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient in such bundles.
