WILO STAR-Z NOVA cirkulationspump för varmvattenberedning 4132760

In residential and light commercial buildings, maintaining instant hot water at every tap is a daily expectation. The WILO STAR-Z NOVA circulation pump is engineered for exactly that—keeping domestic hot water moving through the pipework so that hot water arrives at the fixture within seconds, without wasting litres of cold water down the drain. With its compact 80 mm installation length and Rp ½ connection, it fits directly into standard hot water circulation lines, making it a favourite among plumbers and installers for retrofits and new builds alike.

Why choose it

The STAR-Z NOVA is built for whisper-quiet, maintenance-free operation. Its wet-rotor design means the pumped fluid lubricates the bearing, eliminating the need for mechanical seals and reducing wear. The high-efficiency synchronous motor consumes as little as 3 W—comparable to an LED bulb—while still delivering the flow needed for a comfortable hot water supply. The brass housing ensures durability and corrosion resistance in domestic water systems, and the compact dimensions allow installation in tight spaces, even under sinks or in wall cavities.

Ideal use cases

• Domestic hot water circulation in single-family homes and apartments
• Retrofit projects where space is limited and energy savings are a priority
• Under-sink instant hot water loops in kitchens and bathrooms
• Small commercial applications such as offices, hairdressers, or medical practices

Good to know

The pump is designed for continuous operation with a maximum head of 1 metre, making it ideal for short circulation loops. It should be installed with the motor shaft horizontal to ensure proper bearing lubrication. The EEI of less than 0.20 not only meets but exceeds the requirements of the EU Ecodesign Directive, qualifying for energy efficiency incentives in many regions. For optimal performance, pair with a timer or thermostat control to run the pump only during peak demand periods.
