The GRAPHITE 59G188 angle grinder is a 1600W handheld tool designed for cutting, grinding and polishing a variety of materials. Equipped with electronic speed control and a wide speed range, it delivers consistent power from 3000 to 11,000 min-1, allowing work on different hardnesses and surface structures. The grinder accepts 125 mm wheels with a 22.2 mm bore and uses an M14 spindle. Safety and usability features include a locked power switch to prevent accidental start, ergonomic housing with a comfortable grip and three front handle positions, long flexible power cord and protection against overheating through strategically placed vents. The tool meets applicable European safety standards (CE).

Advantages

The 1600W motor provides high torque for demanding tasks while the electronic speed control maintains power across the full speed range. Multiple handle positions and a light, ergonomic shape enable one-handed operation and improved working comfort. A safety lock on the power switch and overheating protection increase operational safety. The wide speed range and compatibility with common 125 x 22.2 mm wheels make the grinder versatile for cutting, grinding and polishing jobs.

How to use

Before use, ensure the correct disc type and that it is rated for the grinder's maximum speed. Disconnect from the mains when fitting or changing accessories. Fit a 125 x 22.2 mm disc onto the M14 spindle and secure according to the manufacturer's instructions. Select the appropriate speed on the electronic control for the material and accessory—lower speeds for wire brushes and polishing, higher speeds for cutting and aggressive grinding. Hold the tool with both hands when possible, using the auxiliary handle in the preferred position. Apply steady pressure without forcing the tool and allow the disc to do the work. After use, switch off and allow the disc to stop completely before placing the tool down or changing accessories.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment: safety goggles, face shield, gloves, ear protection and a dust mask or respirator when working with materials that generate dust. Match the disc type and grit to the specific application and avoid discs with visible damage. Allow the motor to cool during extended heavy use and inspect air vents regularly to prevent clogging. Store the tool in a dry, dust-free place and follow local regulations for disposal of worn abrasive discs.
