Videosplitter DeLOCK 87693

The DeLOCK 87693 video splitter accepts a single mini DisplayPort input from a PC or laptop and distributes the signal to four DisplayPort outputs, allowing one DisplayPort source to drive up to four DisplayPort monitors. The compact unit features a robust black metal housing and a short integrated cable for easy installation in multi-display setups.

Advantages

The splitter provides four independent DisplayPort outputs and supports DP++ (dual-mode) on the outputs, enabling connection of HDMI or DVI monitors with appropriate passive adapters. Its metal housing offers durability while the small footprint (143 x 67 x 23 mm) and 0.3 m cable simplify placement. The device runs from a universal AC input (100–240 V) and delivers a 5 V output for stable operation.

Suitable for

• Expanding a laptop or PC mini DisplayPort to multiple displays
• Digital signage and information displays
• Multi-monitor workstations for office or control-room environments
• Presentations and trade show setups

How to use

Connect the integrated mini DisplayPort cable to the mini DisplayPort or compatible DisplayPort output on the PC or laptop. Attach up to four DisplayPort monitors to the splitter’s DisplayPort outputs. For HDMI or DVI monitors use passive DP++ (DP to HDMI/DVI) adapters on the outputs. Plug the power adapter into an AC outlet to power the unit. Configure display settings on the computer as needed to extend or duplicate the desktop across the connected monitors.

Recommendations

Use quality DisplayPort cables and, when connecting HDMI/DVI displays, certified passive adapters to ensure signal integrity. For optimal performance, match monitor resolutions and refresh rates supported by the source device and avoid exceeding the capabilities of the mini DisplayPort output.
