VGA-kabel ShiverPeaks Basic-S 3 m

The ShiverPeaks Basic-S 3m VGA Cable is a 3-meter video cable with two VGA (D-Sub) connectors designed to transmit analog VGA signals between computers, monitors, projectors and other display devices. The cable aims to deliver stable image transmission over its length, with construction focused on durability and consistent contact at connectors to reduce signal dropout and visual artifacts.

Advantages

The cable features robust connector housings and strain relief to withstand repeated plugging and movement. With a 3 meter length it offers flexibility for desktop and conference-room installations while maintaining signal integrity. The standard VGA pinout ensures broad compatibility with legacy and current VGA-enabled equipment without the need for adapters when both devices have VGA ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs to VGA monitors
• Connecting laptops or media players to VGA projectors
• Setting up meeting room displays or classroom AV systems
• Temporary or permanent VGA signal extension where digital interfaces are not required

Key specifications

• Length: 3 meters
• Connector type: VGA (D-Sub 15-pin) male-to-male
• Signal type: Analog RGBHV (VGA)
• Construction: Shielded cable with molded connector housings and strain relief
• Compatibility: Standard VGA-equipped display devices and graphics outputs

How to use

Connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA output of the source device and the other end to the VGA input of the display. Secure the connectors by tightening the thumbscrews by hand to ensure a firm mechanical and electrical connection. After connection, select the appropriate input on the display and configure the source device’s display settings (resolution and refresh rate) to match the monitor or projector capabilities. For best results, power off devices before plugging or unplugging the cable.

Recommendations

Position the cable away from strong interference sources such as large power transformers or high-current wiring. For long-term installations, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; use cable clips or ties to secure routing. If using high resolutions or long cable runs in noisy environments, verify image quality and adjust display settings as needed.
