Vattenpumpstång Knipex 00 20 72 V04

The Knipex 00 20 72 V04 tongue-and-groove pliers feature a durable red plastic handle that provides a comfortable and secure grip. With an overall length of 180 mm and a jaw width of 75 mm, these pliers are compact yet capable, offering precise control for gripping, twisting and turning tasks. The tool’s profile and adjustment mechanism allow for multiple jaw positions, giving adaptability for a wide range of component sizes and shapes.

Advantages

These tongue-and-groove pliers combine robust construction with ergonomic handling. The plastic-coated handles reduce hand fatigue and improve slip resistance during repetitive or wet operations. The adjustable jaw positions enable a reliable hold on pipes, nuts and irregular shapes while maintaining consistent force transfer. Compact dimensions make the tool suitable for work in confined spaces without compromising leverage and grip strength.

Suitable for

• Gripping and turning pipes and fittings
• Holding and twisting fasteners and fittings during assembly or disassembly
• General workshop and maintenance tasks
• DIY projects that require adjustable pliers

Key specifications

• Overall length: 180 mm
• Jaw width (maximum opening capacity): 75 mm
• Height: 55 mm
• Handle material: plastic-coated (red)
• Adjustment type: tongue-and-groove, multiple positions

How to use

Select the jaw position appropriate for the object size by sliding the movable jaw along the groove until the desired engagement is reached, then squeeze the handles to secure the grip. Apply steady force while turning or holding the workpiece; reposition the jaws if slippage occurs or if a different grip angle is required. The compact length allows access in tight spaces—use controlled hand force to avoid damaging softer surfaces, and protect workpieces with a cloth or protective sleeve if necessary.

Recommendations

The pliers are intended for gripping, turning and holding tasks. For longer service life and safe operation, avoid using the tool on live electrical circuits, do not apply excessive impact loads, and periodically inspect the jaws and adjustment mechanism for wear or deformation.
