Vattenpump Gardena 1490-20

The GARDENA 1490-20 water pump adapter allows flexible transfer or draining of small water quantities by connecting directly to a standard electric drill. The drive shaft fits a drill chuck with an 8 mm diameter and the adapter uses Original GARDENA connection fittings for immediate hookup to compatible hoses and accessories.

Advantages

The adapter is compact and simple to mount on any standard electric drill (Ø 8 mm chuck). Using Original GARDENA connection fittings ensures fast, leak-minimized attachment to GARDENA hose systems. The design is suitable for occasional water transfer and drainage tasks where a portable, drill-driven solution is preferred.

Suitable for

• Draining small containers, puddles and cisterns
• Transferring water between buckets or tanks
• Temporary irrigation or spot-watering with drill-powered flow
• Quick emergency water removal in indoor or outdoor locations

Key specifications

• Model: GARDENA 1490-20 (MPN 01490-20, EAN 4078500149006)
• Connection: Original GARDENA fittings for hose compatibility
• Drive interface: fits electric drill chuck Ø 8 mm
• Intended use: transfer/drain small water quantities

How to use

Mount the drive shaft into the chuck of a standard electric drill (ensure the chuck diameter is 8 mm or adjustable to 8 mm) and tighten securely. Attach the GARDENA connection fitting to the desired hose or accessory. Place the pump end into the water source, switch the drill on at low speed to start water transfer, and adjust drill speed to control flow. After use, stop the drill, remove the adapter from the water, disconnect the hose and store the components dry.

Recommendations

Use a drill with variable speed control and maintain a low to moderate rpm to avoid excessive wear. Do not run the adapter dry for extended periods. Ensure all connections are secure before operation and follow safety guidelines for electric drill use near water.
