Vägguttagsadapter NRGkick 20001004 blå 16 A

The NRGkick smart attachment 16A 3pole is a detachable socket adapter for the NRGkick charging unit that permits connection to single‑phase 16A sockets (max. 16A / 3.7 kW). It comprises a connector unit and the smart attachment and enables the use of the normally permanently connected NRGkick KfW charging unit with compatible 16A single‑phase outlets.

Advantages

The smart attachment continuously measures temperature on each individual phase pin to detect overheating at the socket. If elevated temperatures are detected, the NRGkick charging unit independently reduces charging current to maintain safe operation. The connector system prevents arcing by interrupting current flow before contacts separate, and all contact elements are silver‑coated to ensure long‑lasting, reliable electrical contact. The attachment is automatically recognized by the NRGkick, which enforces the correct current limit (maximum 16A for this attachment).

Suitable for

• Connecting NRGkick charging units to single‑phase 16A household or industrial sockets
• Portable EV charging where only 16A/3.7 kW supply is available
• Safe temporary charging setups requiring temperature monitoring and automatic current limiting

Key specifications

• Type: NRGkick smart attachment 16A 3pole
• Maximum current: 16 A
• Maximum power: 3.7 kW (single‑phase)
• Features: per‑pin temperature measurement, automatic attachment recognition, automatic current regulation, arc‑prevention connector system
• Contact finish: silver‑coated
• Compatible with: NRGkick KfW charging unit

How to use

Attach the smart attachment to the NRGkick connector unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions and plug the adapter into a compatible single‑phase 16A socket. The NRGkick will detect the attachment automatically and apply the appropriate current limit. Monitor charging via the NRGkick unit or its app as applicable; if the socket temperature rises above safe thresholds the device will reduce or stop charging automatically.

Recommendations

Use only sound, undamaged sockets and regularly inspect the adapter and socket for wear or loose contacts. Do not use damaged attachments or sockets. Ensure the socket provides a stable single‑phase 16A supply and follow local electrical regulations when using the adapter.
