Väggplugg Fischer DuoSeal 557727

The Fischer DuoSeal 557727 wall plug is a 38 mm nylon anchor designed for reliable fixing in a variety of base materials. It features a 6 mm drill hole diameter and is supplied in packs of 50 pieces. The plug’s grey and red colouring improves visibility during installation while the reinforced geometry ensures secure anchoring for medium-duty applications in masonry, concrete, and aerated concrete.

Advantages

The Fischer DuoSeal combines durable nylon material with an engineered shape that expands evenly to distribute load and reduce split risk in brittle substrates. Its length and diameter are matched to common metric fixings, allowing a firm grip for screws and bolts. The visible colour coding helps installers verify correct positioning and depth before final fastening.

Suitable for

• Securing fixtures to masonry and concrete walls
• Mounting shelves, brackets and light fittings
• Interior renovations and general DIY projects
• Use with medium-duty screws and bolts in solid and hollow substrates

Key specifications

• Material: nylon
• Length: 38 mm
• Required drill hole diameter: 6 mm
• Pack quantity: 50 pieces
• Colour: grey and red for visibility

How to use

Drill a hole of 6 mm diameter to the required depth for the 38 mm plug, keeping the drill perpendicular to the surface. Clear dust from the hole, position the Fischer DuoSeal plug so its visible section is flush with the surface, and gently tap it in if necessary until seated. Insert the appropriate screw or bolt and tighten to the required torque; ensure not to overtighten to avoid deforming the plug or damaging the substrate.

Recommendations

Choose screws or bolts that match the plug length and intended load. For maximum anchoring performance in hollow or low-density substrates, verify suitability and use appropriate back-up hardware if required. Always follow local building regulations and manufacturer guidelines for load and spacing when installing multiple fixings.
