Väggmonterat rack Inter-Tech SMA-6612

The Inter-Tech SMA-6612 is a 12U wall mounted rack designed to provide compact, secure housing for networking and server equipment in indoor environments. Finished in black (RAL 9005) with powder coating and tempered glass front door, the unit combines a small footprint with practical features such as removable side panels, cable inlets in the top and bottom, and space for two optional 120 mm fans in the lid. With IP20 protection and a maximum static load of 40 kg, the SMA-6612 is intended for organized, accessible installation of switches, patch panels and other rack-mountable devices where wall mounting and limited depth are required.

Advantages

The SMA-6612 offers a space-saving 12U form factor and a reduced depth design that makes it suitable for installations where floor space is limited. Constructed from steel with a material thickness of 1.25–1.50 mm and a powder-coated finish, the cabinet provides structural stability for a rated load of up to 40 kg while maintaining a low overall weight of 23.52 kg. Security and accessibility are addressed through a keyed lock, tempered glass front door and removable side panels, and integrated cable entry points simplify cable routing for neat installations.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted network closets and small server rooms
• Installation of 19" patch panels, switches and small rackmount devices
• Telecommunications equipment in offices, retail and technical rooms
• Cabinetized distribution for structured cabling and POE devices

How to use

Mount the SMA-6612 securely to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate anchors and fixings for the wall material. Install 19" equipment and patch panels using the front mounting rails, taking care to distribute weight evenly and to stay within the 40 kg maximum load. Route network and power cables through the provided cable inlets in the lid and floor, and fit optional 120 mm fans in the lid if additional airflow is required. Lock the front door with the integrated key lock and reattach side panels as needed for regular access or maintenance.

Recommendations

For reliable operation and accessible maintenance, mount the rack at a comfortable working height and avoid exceeding the specified 40 kg load. Use the cable inlets for clean routing and separate power and network cables where possible. If devices generate heat or are installed in a confined space, install the optional 120 mm fans to improve ventilation and maintain equipment temperature within manufacturer limits.
