TV-signalförstärkare Axing BVS 15-68

The Axing BVS 15-68 TV signal amplifier provides adjustable attenuation and equalization for forward and return paths to optimise signal quality in distribution systems. It includes pluggable interstage attenuation and equalization via jumpers, a built-in return path covering 5–65 MHz, F-type connectors, and test ports at both input and output. The amplifier is housed in an aluminium die-cast and plastic enclosure, measures 192 mm × 44 mm × 89 mm, consumes 5.5 W and accepts AC input voltage from 100 to 240 V.

Advantages

Adjustable forward-path attenuation and equalization allow fine tuning to compensate for cable losses and level imbalances. Pluggable interstage attenuation and equalization with jumpers make configuration flexible and serviceable without soldering. The integrated 5–65 MHz return path with adjustable attenuation and pluggable return-path equalization supports interactive services. Compact housing with F connectors and test ports facilitates installation and signal verification.

How to use

Install the amplifier in the distribution line between the antenna input and downstream devices, connecting coaxial cables with F-type connectors. Use the front or internal jumpers to set the required interstage attenuation and equalization for the forward path; adjust the return-path attenuation and fit jumpers for return-path equalization as needed. Verify signal levels using the test ports at input and output and fine-tune attenuation/equalization for optimal balance across the network. Ensure mains supply within 100–240 V before powering the unit.

Recommendations

Set attenuation and equalization progressively: start with minimal attenuation and increase to eliminate overload or imbalance. Use the test ports to compare input and output levels after each change. For installations providing interactive services, verify return-path performance across the 5–65 MHz band and adjust return attenuation to avoid interference.
