Trämejselset Stanley 5-delar DynaGrip 2-16-885

Stanley 5-Piece DynaGrip Wood Chisel Set (model 2-16-885) includes five pre-sharpened chisels with high chrome-carbon steel blades and ergonomic DynaGrip handles. The set is designed for durable, precise woodworking and comes with full-length blade guards and lacquered blades for corrosion protection. Manufactured in Sheffield, England, the chisels are suitable for intensive use and offer a range of sizes to cover common carving and paring tasks.

Advantages

The set contains five chisels (6, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm) with forged high chrome-carbon steel blades that retain a sharp edge. Ergonomic soft-grip DynaGrip handles improve comfort and control, and the longer handle design increases shock and shatter resistance. Full-length blade guards and lacquered blades provide added safety and corrosion protection. Each blade is pre-sharpened and the steel strike cap allows use with a steel hammer for greater striking efficiency. Manufactured in Sheffield, England, the chisels are specified for intensive use.

Suitable for

• General woodworking: paring, trimming and fitting joints
• Cabinetmaking and furniture repair
• Carving and detail work
• On-site maintenance where durability is required

How to use

Select the chisel size appropriate to the task and ensure the blade guard is removed. Hold the DynaGrip handle firmly with one hand and position the chisel bevel against the workpiece. For controlled paring and trimming, use hand pressure or a wooden mallet; when using a steel hammer, strike the reinforced steel cap. Keep the blade angle consistent and make multiple light passes rather than forcing a single heavy cut. After use, wipe the blades clean and replace the blade guards for storage.

Recommendations

Store the chisels in a dry place to prevent corrosion despite the lacquered finish, periodically hone the blades to maintain edge retention, and use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves and eye protection) when striking with a hammer.
