TP-Link Omada 300 Mbps Wireless N takmonterad accesspunkt

An affordable, scalable business Wi‑Fi solution, the 300Mbps Wireless N Ceiling Mount Access Point provides centralised cloud management, guest authentication and flexible installation options. It supports Omada Hardware and Software Controllers for real‑time monitoring and remote access, and includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified cabling. The device is suitable for small to medium business environments that need reliable indoor wireless coverage and straightforward management.

Advantages

Cloud‑centralised management enables remote monitoring and configuration from anywhere, while captive portal support with Facebook and SMS authentication streamlines guest access. The ceiling/wall mount design and PoE support reduce installation complexity and cable clutter. A free mobile app lets administrators configure settings, monitor network status and manage clients from a smartphone or tablet.

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: IEEE 802.11n (Wireless N)
• Maximum data rate: 300 Mbps
• Mounting: Ceiling or wall mount
• Management: Omada Hardware Controller (OC200) and Omada Software Controller; cloud management
• Guest authentication: Captive portal with Facebook and SMS support
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE)
• Mobile management: Omada mobile app for configuration and monitoring

How to use

Install the access point on a ceiling or wall using the included mounting hardware. Connect the device to your network switch or router and supply power via PoE to avoid separate power cabling. Use the Omada Hardware Controller (OC200) or Omada Software Controller to adopt the access point into your network, or register it to the cloud service for remote management. Configure SSIDs, security settings and captive portal options through the controller interface or the Omada mobile app, then monitor status and clients from the controller or app.

Recommendations

Place the access point centrally within the coverage area and avoid obstructions and large metal objects to maximise signal strength. Use PoE switches or injectors that meet the device power requirements and keep controller software or cloud account credentials secure. For guest environments, enable captive portal authentication (Facebook or SMS) to control access and gather usage data if required.
