TP-Link EAP725-Wall 5012 Mbit/s vit Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The TP-Link EAP725-Wall is a wall-mounted dual-band Wi-Fi 6 access point delivering combined speeds up to 5012 Mbit/s. Designed for dense environments, it provides dedicated and private WiFi networks for every room while supporting Power over Ethernet for flexible placement. The unit includes 2.5G PoE input and pass-through ports plus two Gigabit RJ45 ports to connect and power wired devices without extra cabling, and it integrates with the Omada SDN for centralized, multi-site management.

Advantages

The device supports Wi‑Fi 6 for improved throughput and efficiency in busy networks and offers optimized wired performance through 2.5G PoE input and pass-through ports alongside two Gigabit RJ45 ports. PoE capability enables powering compatible devices such as IP phones directly via Ethernet. Integration with the Omada SDN allows remote management of access points, switches and routers from a single interface, simplifying administration across multiple sites.

Suitable for

• Multi-room deployments in small offices, hotels or apartments
• High-density areas requiring stable wireless connections
• Installations where PoE-powered wired devices (e.g., IP phones) are needed

Key specifications

• Model: TP-Link EAP725-Wall (EAP725-Wall)
• Wireless standard: Dual-band Wi‑Fi 6
• Maximum data transfer rate: 5012 Mbit/s
• Antennas: 4
• Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports: 3 (including 2.5G PoE input and pass-through plus two Gigabit ports)
• Power: Power over Ethernet (PoE) support

How to use

Mount the EAP725-Wall on a standard wall box or surface using the included hardware. Connect the PoE input port to a compatible PoE switch or injector to provide both power and network connectivity. Use the pass-through and Gigabit RJ45 ports to connect additional wired devices; compatible PoE devices can be powered directly through the Ethernet connection. Configure wireless settings, SSIDs and security options via the Omada SDN controller or local web interface and place the access point centrally in the room for best coverage.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in high-density environments, enable Wi‑Fi 6 features in the controller, keep firmware up to date, and position the access point to minimize physical obstructions. Use Omada SDN to group and manage multiple EAP725-Wall units for seamless roaming and consistent policy enforcement across sites.
