Taklampa Maclean MCE131 12W

The Maclean MCE131 12W ceiling lighting is a compact recessed fixture designed for general-purpose indoor illumination. With a neutral white finish and a low-profile design, it integrates into ceilings to provide consistent, energy-efficient light. The unit accepts a wide input voltage range, making it compatible with standard 110–240V mains supplies used in residential and commercial interiors. Its modest power rating and recessed mounting suit zones where unobtrusive, functional lighting is required.

Advantages

The ceiling light delivers stable illumination from a 12W LED source while maintaining low energy consumption. Recessed mounting creates a clean, modern ceiling appearance and reduces visual clutter. A wide input voltage range ensures reliable operation across different electrical systems. The white finish blends with most interior décors and supports straightforward installation in shallow ceiling voids.

How to use

Before installation, switch off mains power and verify the supply is within the 110–240 V range. Cut an opening in the ceiling to the fixture's recommended diameter, connect the live, neutral and earth conductors to the corresponding terminals, and secure the unit in the ceiling cavity according to mounting clips or springs. Restore power and test the fixture for correct operation. For retrofit into existing ceilings, check available void depth and ensure the fixture does not obstruct insulation or ventilation paths.

Recommendations

Use the Maclean MCE131 as part of layered lighting schemes: combine with task or accent lights where higher illumination levels are required. Avoid installation in locations exposed to direct water spray; for damp areas select fixtures with appropriate ingress protection. For long service life, operate within the specified voltage range and ensure proper heat dissipation by not covering the fixture with insulating material.
