Strömfördelare Bachmann 333.537

The Bachmann 333.537 Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is a 1U rack-mountable basic PDU designed to provide reliable AC power distribution for small racks and equipment clusters. It delivers five AC outlets in a compact black housing and connects using an integrated 2-meter mains cable. The unit is rated for a nominal input voltage of 230 V and operates at 50 Hz, with built-in overvoltage protection to help safeguard connected devices from voltage spikes.

Advantages

This PDU offers a compact 1U form factor suitable for space-constrained racks and enclosures. The five AC outlets allow simultaneous powering of multiple devices while maintaining a tidy cable arrangement. The integrated 2 m cable provides flexibility for typical rack and wall outlet locations, and the overvoltage protection adds a layer of safety for sensitive equipment. The black finish is intended to blend with most professional rack environments.

Suitable for

• Small server racks and network cabinets
• Audio/visual equipment setups in studios and conference rooms
• Workstation clusters and small lab benches
• Edge computing and telecommunications enclosures

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mountable PDU
• Number of AC outlets: 5
• Nominal input voltage: 230 V
• Operating frequency: 50 Hz
• Color: Black
• Cable length: 2 m (integrated mains cable)
• PDU type: Basic (non-switched, distribution-only)
• Protection: Overvoltage protection for connected devices

How to use

Mount the PDU in a 1U space within your rack or secure it to a flat surface as appropriate for your installation. Connect the integrated mains cable to a properly rated 230 V AC outlet that matches the local electrical code. Plug your equipment into the available AC outlets, taking care not to exceed the combined current rating of the PDU and circuit. Ensure that the overvoltage protection is functional as part of routine checks and avoid connecting loads that draw surge currents beyond the PDU’s intended use.

Recommendations

Locate the PDU close to the devices it will serve to minimize cable runs, and distribute high-current devices across different PDUs or circuits when possible. Regularly inspect the unit and cabling for signs of wear or damage, and ensure that rack airflow is not obstructed to maintain safe operating conditions.
