Städgrensåg WOLF-Garten RC-M

The Anvil Tree Cutter WOLF-Garten RC-M is a garden pruning tool designed for cutting small branches with an anvil-style blade mechanism. It has a robust construction and a cutting capacity of up to 30 mm, providing clean cuts that reduce damage to plants. An ergonomic handle system and optional Vario handle compatibility allow safer work at heights when combined with the appropriate extension.

Advantages

The RC-M model reduces the physical effort required for cutting thanks to a 3.5x pulley system and WOLF-Garten easy-cutting coating on the blade, enabling more efficient pruning with less strain. It permits safe cutting of branches at heights up to 5.50 m when used with the Vario handle and includes a cable guide for attachment to that handle to improve control and reach.

Suitable for

• Pruning small to medium tree branches up to 30 mm diameter
• Routine garden maintenance and shaping of shrubs and trees
• Working at height when combined with a Vario extension handle

How to use

Place the anvil blade around the branch and operate the cutting mechanism using the handle. For branches within reach, use the built-in handle; for branches higher up, attach the RC-M head to a compatible Vario extension handle, secure the cable with the supplied cable guide and apply steady, controlled pressure to close the blade and complete the cut. Ensure the blade seats fully against the anvil for a clean cut and avoid twisting motions that can damage the tool or the plant.

Recommendations

Use protective gloves and eye protection when pruning. Clean the blade after use and lubricate pivot points as recommended by the manufacturer. Do not attempt to cut branches thicker than 30 mm and inspect the tool before each use for damage. When working at height, follow safe ladder and extension-handle practices and ensure secure attachment to the Vario handle.
