Skruvmejselbitsats Wiha 42114 7 st

BitBuddy® TY bit set, 49 mm — Wiha 42114 is a compact 7-piece screwdriver bit set with 1/4" hex shank and 49 mm length, designed for reliable fastening of T- and Y-shaped screws. The set contains two TY bits (sizes SW3 and SW4) and five additional hexagon bits arranged in the BitBuddy® holder for convenient selection and return of bits during work.

Advantages

The BitBuddy® holder organises bits in a distinctive order and each bit has a lasered size on its base for quick identification. TY bits are universal for T- and Y-shaped screws. A patented torsion zone increases durability and allows safe use with power tools and impact drivers, providing up to 120× longer life than Wiha standard bits. Fluorescent coating on the coloured bits improves visibility, including under UV light, reducing loss and replacement costs.

How to use

Select the required bit from the BitBuddy® holder by reading the lasered size marking on the bit base, insert the bit into the 1/4" hex chuck or screwdriver, and engage the fastener. For use with power tools or impact drivers, ensure the bit is fully seated and apply steady pressure. After use, return the bit to its original position in the BitBuddy® holder to keep the set organised and easy to access.

Recommendations

Use the TY bits for both T- and Y-shaped screws; when using power tools, avoid excessive side load to maximise the life of the torsion zone and check bits for wear before reuse. Store the BitBuddy® holder in a dry place and use UV light to locate fluorescent bits if visibility is low.
