Skruvmejselbits Wiha 284

The Wiha 284 screwdriver bit is manufactured from high-quality chromium-vanadium (CVM) steel with through hardening and a titanium-silver finish. The bit is lasered with its output size for clear identification and features a ball end that allows work at angles up to 25°. With a 3 mm tip diameter, 150 mm length and a hexagonal shank, it is designed for precise fastening tasks and secure fitting in compatible screwdrivers or bit holders.

Advantages

The chromium-vanadium construction and through hardening provide wear resistance and longer service life. The lasered size marking improves usability by making identification quick and reliable. The ball end expands accessibility to fasteners at oblique angles up to 25°, while the hexagonal shank ensures a stable connection with screwdriver handles and bit holders. The 150 mm length offers reach for recessed or hard-to-access screws.

Suitable for

• Precision fastening where a 3 mm bit is required
• Working in confined or partially obstructed spaces using the ball end
• Use with hex-shank screwdrivers, bit holders and cordless drivers

How to use

Insert the hexagonal shank into a compatible screwdriver handle or bit holder until it seats securely. Use the 3 mm tip to engage the matching fastener, applying steady torque. When access is limited, use the ball end to engage the screw at angles up to 25°; ensure the tip is properly seated to avoid cam‑out. After use, clean any debris from the bit and store it in a suitable bit holder or toolbox.

Recommendations

Use appropriate torque settings on power drivers to avoid damaging the bit or fastener. Inspect the tip before use for wear or deformation and replace the bit if damaged. Keep the lasered marking visible for quick size identification during work.
